 FUNDING
We have secured money to purchase two road bikes for the club. These will be suitable for 10-14 year olds. They should arrive by the end of June. They are specifically to be used on the Saturday morning rides (see below) and also for those children that fancy trying their hand at races.
SATURDAY ROAD RIDES
For those children with road bikes, road rides will continue on every Saturday, leaving from the Edenham road entrance to Bourne Woods at 9.30am and returning at roughly 11.30am, covering around  20 miles. Please note, these will not run on the first Saturday of the month as this is the time when we will take our ride in Bourne Woods. Also there will be no ride this Saturday as it is a bank holiday weekend.
EAST MIDLANDS YOUTH LEAGUE
We have been invited to participate in the above league. Our event in Bourne Woods will take place on 4^th September and will be a cyclo-cross style event. Details of other event in the league will be forwarded on when I know the dates

 CONGRATULATIONS
I would like to say very well done to all the children that competed in the Spalding Crits on the 2^nd of May. These were Emily Weir, Tim James, Dan Burton, Jack Whadcock and Campbell Pollock. Tim secured an excellent 3^rd place in the under 12s race, followed by Jack and Dan. Campbell did very well in the under 14s race considering the fierce competition he was up against, and Emily also raced excellently in the under 10s race. Mark and Richard also raced in the senior race, Mark came in second by a wheel length after being taken right on the line, and Richard came in tenth after a fantastic performance in the bunch sprint to the finish. Well done to all that raced and many thanks to those that came along to cheer on the riders.

We have many birthdays to celebrate in the next few months, I would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Ashley Brewis 3^rd June, James Key 7^th June, Oliver Dray 22^nd June, Thomas Dray 22^nd June, Jessica Wigley 1^st July, Owen Rowntree 6^th July, Ellie Brewis 14^th July, Christopher Dray 14^th July, Angus Mellor 20^th July and Flynn Pakey 31^st July. Happy Birthday to you all!!!
CLOTHING
Finally, I think we have got somewhere with club clothing. Although the prices are slightly more expensive than I had originally hoped, the club is fortunately in a position to subsidise the clothing to the tune of knocking £10 off per garment.
