West London Wildcats Junior Development Programme

The high level plans for the Wildcats in 2009-2010 is:

(a) Run some Junior clinics in conjunction with senior training in 2009-2010 (Thursday night clinics);

(b) Send some Wildcats teachers down to the participating schools to assist with the program;

(c) Assist with the introduction of some inter-school Aussie Rules competitions in Acton, Ealing & West London areas; and

(d) Form a Wildcats U16 Team in 2009 to play in the U16 Competition (idea would be for best kids from local schools & Thursday night sessions to be selected to represent Wildcats in Saturday afternoon U16 Comp).

These plans reinforce the AFL London Committee's commitment to developing a sustainable competition with locally based talent.
