JOB DESCRIPTION

Post: Gatekeeper

Reporting To:
Matchday Manager  

Skills Required:
Accuracy in cash handling
Polite, friendly and outgoing personality
Dependability

Main Purpose of Post:
Collect admission fees on behalf of the Club.
Maximise the Club’s admission income.

Specific Requirements of the Post:
Be in attendance at the ground at the time set down by the Matchday Manager (usually forty-five minutes before kick off).

Collect change and money bags / trays from the Treasurer.

Admit sponsors who show a Sponsor’s season ticket pass.

Admit representatives of visiting club.

Ensure all entrance fees are collected from all other people entering the ground in accordance with the charges and directions of the Club and competition organisers.

Remain in attendance at the gate/s to the time agreed upon with the Matchday Manager

Ret
urn all monies collected to the Treasurer.

Effective communicator

Main Purpose of Post:
To provide revenue for the Club through matchday raffles and a sponsored goals fund-raising scheme.

Specific Requirements of the Post:
Sells raffle tickets on matchdays.
Encourages participation in a sponsored goals scheme.
