Welcome to Moreton in Marsh Bowling Club

We are an outdoor lawn bowls club based in Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire, England. We play friendly matches Ladies, Gents and Mixed matches against other clubs in our area. These matches are played at weekends and during the week. We also have a mostly internal Wednesday afternoon league. Some of our members also enter Inter-club and County competitions.

We are actively looking for new members at all levels of ability and welcome beginners to the sport. We have qualified coaches and annually run an open day for anyone to come and try lawn bowls as well as having our club nights on Monday evenings from 6.30pm.

Another good year

It's been a good start to the 2009 season. Our open day proved very successful and subsequent coaching has led to new members joining the club and already playing in club matches. Some of our members are still in County competitions and our club competitions have also started. Our programme of friendly ladies, mens and mixed matches is going well with only a couple of weather affected days and we had a very successful mens match against a GBA team.
