Welcome to Moreton in Marsh Bowling Club

We are an outdoor lawn bowls club based in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, England. We play friendly matches Ladies, Gents and Mixed matches against other clubs in our area. These matches are played at weekends and during the week. We also have an outdoor Wednesday afternoon internal league in addition to playing in the North Cotswold League. Some of our members also enter Inter-club and County and National competitions.

We have approximately 100 playing and social members.

New members at all levels of ability are always welcome including beginners to the sport.

We run a club night every Monday evening from 6.30. During the outdoor season, which runs from late April to late September, this gives an opportunity for a friendly roll-up and for beginners and newer bowlers to have some guidance from more experienced members. With our new clubhouse we are now continuining the Monday club nights through the winter months with indoor short mat bowling on 2 carpets.

We also hold social events for members including lunches, quiz nights and any other excuse to get together and socialise. 

We welcome touring teams and recommend Moreton in Marsh as a centre for your Cotswold bowling tours.
